Local Business Updates 2020 COVID Accommodations!
2020 had many of us wringing our hands trying to figure out how to meet the accommodations for this pandemic. Oroville stepped up and most businesses bent over backwards to make sure our community was taken care of and our community responded by using our local businesses. This has allowed Frontier Foods at 1205 Main St. to add yet MORE services to their grocery store. Frontier recently launched their online shopping app that allows you to shop online and do curbside pickup OR home delivery.
During the early stages of this shut down Rocky DeVon from RE/MAX decided since he could not have his real estate office open for business, he would help his local business associate and do some deliveries for those stuck at home. Pat Davisson of Frontier Foods always has his eye out for the needs of Oroville, and this was no different. Less than a year after this lockdown started there is a new set of services at Frontier. Home delivery with online purchasing allows families who may not live next door to make sure their loved ones in Oroville have the groceries needed without having to navigate multiple steps, as well as a quick order for that dinner you forgot to take out of the freezer. Do not forget you can also get party platters (fruit or vegetable platters, meats and cheeses, sandwiches or whatever you come up with in the deli department), food to go, custom meat cuts, floral gifts and customized floral orders for that special occasion and recently liquor was even added to the shelves at Frontier.
With an overflow parking area located directly across the street from Frontier that is often donated to community events for an easy access location for activities, this newest source of serving their customers is no surprise. Check it out at: www.myfrontierfoods.com. Thank you, Frontier Foods, for being an example of meeting challenges in 2020/ 2021.
